Ironically enough, I grew up watching Dragon Ball Z on Cartoon Network, which quickly became my favorite show. My growing obsession for DBZ later spurned my interest in martial arts. My parents signed me up at the nearest Kung Fu San Soo studio, where I started training under Master Bill Hulsey circa 2001. Its been a huge part of my life ever since.
After initially earning my Blue Belt I left the school for several years. San Soo remained in the back of my mind into early adulthood, and after becoming financially independent I decided to continue my training circa 2008. I've been studying the art for over 13 years now, and I currently hold the rank of Master, which is granted at 8th degree Black Belt).
I am currently teaching Kung Fu San Soo (online only at the moment), and I would also love to learn other martial arts. While I absolutely love the traditional art of San Soo, I firmly believe there is knowledge to be gained in every martial art. I've briefly trained in Gracie Jiu Jitsu and Kickboxing, and would love to further grow in both.
I've expressed my love of San Soo throughout my both my career and personal life over the years.
In 2016, my gracious and talented co-workers added an NPC of myself to World of Warcraft's Legion expansion. The NPC holds the title "Master of San Soo" and can be found in the Monk Order Hall using one of the training dummies.

And in early 2017, I took my love of San Soo even further and had a full back tattoo custom designed by DAP Digital. The tattoo itself was done by Chazz at Midwest Art Society.
